Quarantine Productivity Tip #1

As the COVID-19 crisis continues most of us find ourselves spending significantly more time at home trying to be productive. Productivity at home is not as easy as many people think, as we are seeing. I thought I would share a couple of things that are working well for me.
Tip#1: Set a schedule, and stick to it
Setting a schedule allows you to get in a rhythm. Many of us had schedules before and now they are disrupted. We are all battling the same thing, but we need to adjust and get ourselves back into a rhythm. One of the most important things for the schedule is waking up and going to bed at roughly the same time every day. Getting a consistent sleep schedule is difficult, but it will pay dividends. The research on getting a consistent sleep schedule has many positive effects. You are free to do your own research if you do not believe me. Another important aspect of setting your schedule is getting your things on your schedule. As it is said in the great book 7 Habits of Highly Successful People by Stephen Covey, you should schedule your priorities not prioritize your schedule.
Hopefully, this helps you back on the road to productivity at home.
